The MX2000 line is the newest addition to the Juniper MX 3D Universal Edge Router product family. Powered by the Trio chipset and Junos OS the MX2000 line is the highest performing Edge Routing platform in the industry and comes in two sizes, the 20-slot MX2020 and the 10-slot MX2010.Both chassis share common power, switching, cooling, and routing/control modules for cost effective sparing. The MX2020 and the MX2010 offer a resilient, fully redundant architecture ensuring adherence to the most stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs).The MX2020 is full rack system that scales to 80Tbps over time and the MX2010 is a smaller form factor that scales to 40Tbps. The MX2020 and MX2010 offer full investment protection and a full feature set from day one. All Trio Chipset-based MPCs, including the MPC1, MPC2, MPC3, MPC4 are supported on the MX2000 line and across the entire MX Series product family.
